International Thud Tournament 2009 pilot (ITT2009)
A new year, a new set of Rules. This time, we're going to play for the entire length of 2009, instead of just six to eight weeks. Please read on for more information.
A couple of things you need to understand:
1. Unlike other years, Oograh Boike is the sole organiser of ITT2009
2. you should therefore sign up with him instead of at thudgame central
3. you should be aware that we have a new set of Rules, which can be found right here.
ITT2009 Timetable
It's very simple really. We have three Rounds, and at the end we will know who will be Thudmeister 2009. ITT2009 is about allowing people to fit their schedule into the tournament, rather than fit the tournament into their schedule.
- signing up starts all of first five months of 2009, and ends on 31st of may.
- Round One starts on every first of every month from february to june, ends june 26th**
- Round Two starts july first, ends september 28th or thereabouts
- Final and Semi-Final start october 1st, end december 30th
**So yes, you can join Round One anytime you like or see fit, and start playing on first of next month, or even in one of the later months you prefer if you say so beforehand.
